On Saturday, March 17, wear green (even if you're not Irish) to be like our green tree frogs. You can meet a couple of our frogs up close and personal after the breakfast which starts at 8:30am. Learn why frogs are so important to many ecosystems and why many of their species are at the greatest risk today. Then, go see our colorful frogs (blue, yellow, and more) in their Zoo habitats at our Reptile Building.

Have a stay-cation at the Zoo!

As the land awakens from its winter slumber, plants begin to bloom while hibernating animals become more active and migrating animals return. Wake up and find a friend to join you at this eye opening experience!

Each month, the Niabi Zoo will host scientists discussing real issues in zoology, conservation, veterinary medicine, ecology, animal behavior, horticulture and more. These are presentations by people with specialized and deep knowledge of species and issues that are related to the natural world.
