The deadline to respond was five days after the questions were sent out. All four Republicans responded. Of the five Democrats, only Representative Elesha Gayman responded.

1) Would you vote for Senate File 227 (http://tinyurl.com/c2wa7t: "This bill creates a compact for the state of Iowa whereby the state agrees to certify its electors for president of the United States based on the national popular vote for president, rather than on the popular vote for president within the state") or its equivalent?

Senator Shawn Hamerlinck (R-Davenport): No.

Seantor David Hartsuch (R-Bettendorf): No.

Senator Joe Seng (D-Davenport): Did not respond.
