Hey, Mike --

I was very happy to see you list "Tony's Death" in Circa '21's 2007 production of West Side Story as the leadoff in your "Five Honest Tear-Jerkers" section. Unfortunately, the actors' names are missing from the ariticle!

Mishi Schueller & Kimberly Willes were, indeed, "... an astounding, passionate Tony and Maria...", and I was lucky enough to be on stage every night with them during that amazing end scene. I can honestly say it was a real catharsis at each performance for those of us on stage as well as the audience. - Peter Soderberg

I only have one minor complaint.

"Dracula" was probably the topper for me of a stunning theater season. Slightly beating out Henry V for best thing I saw on stage in the QCs this year.

"Dracula" by Ballet Quad Cities was amazing. I had to check that I was still in Davenport. The stagecraft and movement were quite a thing to behold. - Michael Callahan

I, for one, am extremely grateful for your predilection for list-making, Mike. My thanks to you for taking the time to see and weigh in on so many shows and for drawing together all these fine moments for consideration. As a person who keeps fairly busy and sees quite a bit of area theater, reading through your lists often makes me wince at how much I MISSED! More importantly, though, it rekindles my ongoing resolution to (somehow) try to take in more in the year ahead. One thing's certain--there is an abundance of good theater going on in the Quad Cities and surrounding area. Now, if I can just squeeze a few more "viewing only" weekends into the year. What a great problem to have, eh? - Jennifer Kingry
