			<description>It is easy to forget where our rights come from and why we celebrate the 4th of July.  Our modern faith in government often leads us to think of rights as coming from Government.  As clearly articulated in the Declaration of Independence, we became free people because Nature's God gave us rights, not because a Constitution written 17 years later gave us those rights.  It is good to remember the source of liberty and to realize that the Government is not a benefactor, but simply an agent of the people to protect our God given rights.  2 Corinthians 3:17 - antipragmatist</description>
