Circle of Democracy + Idiocracy

Great article, unfortunately I think our society is experiencing a combination of Alexander Tyler's Circle of Democracy, and Mike Judge's Idiocracy.

Idiocracy:a dystopia where advertising, commercialism, and cultural anti-intellectualism run rampant and dysgenic pressure has resulted in a uniformly stupid human society devoid of individual responsibility or consequences.

Circle of Democracy
From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage. - Jason Kakert

Response to Susan Carroll
"How do we legally do this without having the IRS board up our business?"

ONE way to do it is to ensure your own self-sufficiency for an extended period of time (stay out of debt, have cash for necessities, food, etc.) and then go on strike. If there's no taxable income, there's no income to tax. But there must be a mass movement of people ready to do this if it is to work. - DJRG

As a visitor from from Germany, I observed delegates from 48 States communicating about their rights to hold their government accountable. A positive outcme will set precedence for all other nations who yearn all along for freedom. The rest of the world can only dream about a gathering of this kind. "The line in the sand is drawn" and from now on citizens should support what Bob Schulz so diligent started, to communicate in every state that the beginning to restore the U.S. Consituton is passionately achieved. Spread the confidence, "We the People" waited so long. - Klaus Todte

I believe that this cc is going to have a very positive effect on this government. I also believe that the machinery in this gov. is a very enormous, and corrupt wheel that will be very difficult to slow down much less stop, in a short time. It is only that with united effort and perserverance that we can succeed. This is a good start but with much more work to be done. May GOD bless us and give us the strength to see this through. - Sonny

I'm looking forward to the coming "fight". Its time we finally stood up and stopped those who have proved so blatantly that they have no respect for those who put them into office. It will be interesting to see how this all goes down. Those who have pushed us into this situation should not only be removed from office but charges filed and prison terms served for their acts. The act of "treason" being brought against many.

In response to the religious views such as those stated above, I would like to remind everyone that we have "freedom of religion" and that means ALL religions. Not just Christianity. There are many belief systems out there and each brings their believers to the Divine in Its own manner. There are many Paths to the Divine, it doesn't matter which one is taken, just that one is chosen. Having moved from the Divine is, indeed in large part, where this country has gone wrong.

When the "Civic Actions" are presented, count me in to begin implementing them where I can! - Viktorija Briggs

They are our servants and are to listen to the will of the people. We have a group in the white house (our White House)now dictating to us, set up over many years, we can see. That does not give them authority. We have our rights given us. First of all - unless we give our Lord God the Glory, Worship Him, and follow Him, we cannot expect back what we received under Him in the beginning of the U.S. Constitutiion and Bill of Rights given from Him. He was worshipped and thanked then. Very few will stand up and call our people back to the Lord God. Or even acknowledge such, as tolerant to those trying to take over.

Our young people are taught from Pre school through Univ/Col/against the rights of the parents by forcing stuff on the children that is offensive to our God. Some people say: everyone is doing it. The immoral lifestyles, etc, and do same. A reason we are where we are. Love the sinner back, hate the sin. Get the people back into reading their Bibles & get to know Our Loving Lord God and will see what people went through when they turned their backs on our Lord God - to bring them back to Him, to SAVE them eternally.( not one's rewritten to include Mother God, etc. deleting words God inspired. God said, I will take you under my wings LIKE a mother hen. Let's let Him.

Keep up the Good work. - Maxine Erickson

This is wonderful work, and extremely well writen. I am so proud of all our delegates that participated. A question on the financial withdrawal of support. How do we legally do this without having the IRS board up our business? - Susan Carroll

In regards to the term "Several States" - your understanding of this term is incorrect. If you look at the declaration and resolves of the original Continental Congress in 1774, as well as the U.S. Constitution, this EXACT same language was used, and it referred to the entirety of what eventually became the United States. This was nothing more than something that I chose to include as an homage to previous works, to our founding fathers, and to recognize the great history of our nation. - Jeff Williams

Todd, many thanks for expressing the spirit of cc09 so succinctly--and for all the work you did in furtherance of same. It was an honor working with you and all those who sacrificed their time to attend. - TheDameTruth

Line drawn in the Sand, Will You Help Hold It?

Very good article from many aspects, including why many citizens are only passively interesting in what is happening.

One constructive ccoment, the term 'several states' is used repeatedly, my understanding of what that term means is ' less than a majority, not even 50%, certainly not 96% of the states'.
In most cases the average reader will not take the time to actually count the number of states (by my count 48)and understand that the number of states committed to this project is 96% (48 of 50).
Sugest changing 'several states' to something more bold, a lot more definite, maybe 'super majority', but it is even greater than that number, so why not use '48 of 50 states or 96%'.
Keep up the good work
