QC Times local coverage of the south side of the Mississippi is sparse. In my opinion, the problems w/ our local newspapers is that they're too slow. Things show up in the newspapers days to weeks after they've already been covered by TV news, or bigger news outlets on the net. The methodology was reasonable, and the results were only mildly surprising. I still rely on newspapers as a primary source of news, and they're the best source of local news. I get state, national, and international nwws from other sources.
