Delivering songs about flowers, trees, mountains, and animals, as well as a call for rain to soothe a thirsty earth, Galesburg's professional vocal ensemble the Nova Singers concludes their 2023-24 season with two performances of Mother Earth, a beautiful repertoire of selections being performed at Galesburg's First Lutheran Church on April 13 and Davenport's St. Paul Lutheran Church on April 14.

With their 2023 album and sophomore release You Know Who hailed by Americana Highways as "creative, fun, and wildly original," the Georgia-based Americana talents of The Pink Stones headline an April 14 concert at Davenport's Raccoon Motel, their latest recording also praised by Glide magazine, which stated, "If you don’t find yourself singing along with The Pink Stones on at least a couple of these songs, then something must be amiss."

With the sextet composed of singers from France, Sweden, England, Canada, and the United States, the internationally beloved ensemble Accent headlines an April 13 concert at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts and an April 14 engagement at St. Ambrose University's Galvin Fine Arts Center, the talents lauded by All About Jazz as "arguably the most spectacular jazz vocal group since TAKE 6."

Performing a repertoire featuring Johannes Brahm's Tragic Overture, op. 81, Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4, op. 36, and the newly commissioned Clarinet Concerto by beloved local composer Jacob Bancks, the Quad City Symphony Orchestra closes their 2023-24 Masterworks series with the concert event The Force of Fate, its April 6 and 7 presentations at Davenport's Adler Theatre and Augustana College's Centenniual showcasing the thrilling talents of clarinetist Ricardo Morales.
