On Sunday, May 17, 2009 Camp Courageous of Iowa will hold the 22ndh annual “Cruisin’ for Camp Courageous” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Presented by the Cedar Valley Street Rods, it is one of Iowa’s largest charity Car Shows and features hundreds of show cars, racecars, and trucks.  This is a family event with a large silent and live auction, kid’s games, food, music, and huge craft show.  Guests will enjoy the opportunity to watch Jim Hetzler and friends as they take part in the annual pinstriper panel jam. The indoor pool will be open and swimming will be included with admission fee along with rides on the new camp train!  Car enthusiasts from everywhere will want to attend this event with all proceeds going to Camp Courageous.

Admission is $5.00 for adults.  Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.  This fee will admit you to all events including the car show, entertainment, and much more.

Camp Courageous of Iowa is a year-round camp for individuals with special needs and is run on donations, without government assistance, formal sponsorship, or paid fundraisers. In 2008 over 5,000 campers were served.
