The Hilltop Campus Village Main Street Iowa district is holding its annual meeting celebration on Wednesday May 29, 2013, from 6pm to 8pm at THE CENTER, 1411 Brady Street in the heart of the Village.
This year, the event will serve double duty as a fundraiser for the Hilltop Campus Village, with a spaghetti supper, raffling of gifts, and special guest speaker, U.S. Congressman David Loebsack.
The event is open to the public with a $6 charge for dinner. The program will include the election of new members to the board of directors, plus an overview of accomplishments over the past year, current projects and things to come.
The Hilltop Campus Village is a not for profit 501c3 corporation and is non-member based, It charges no dues and asks only that interested parties and volunteers support its mission, which in essence is to revitalize the commercial corridors of the Hilltop Campus Village, by encouraging redevelopment, reinvestment and restoration.
If you are supportive of the effort, curious about activities and/or would like to consider being a part of the Hilltop Campus Village project, please make plans to attend, and spread the word!

Lt. Governor Reynolds and Rivermont share a passion for STEM education.  Reynolds is the Co-Chair of the Governor’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Advisory Council and was the only elected official named to the “100 Women Leaders in STEM” by STEMconnector in 2012.  At Rivermont, students begin working with discipline-specific science teachers in Kindergarten and math courses allow them to accelerate to the most appropriate level, regardless of their age or grade.  Technology is interwoven into Rivermont’s curriculum, including Kindles, iPads, and a robotics program that spans grades 3-12.  We are thrilled to welcome a recognized STEM leader to Rivermont’s 126th Commencement!

Please volunteer or help recruit volunteers for the LeClaire Information Center! We get a lot of great comments about the LIC, and we help promote all of LeClaire:

1. Through telling visitors about our great attractions, shops, restaurants, parks, schools, housing developments, etc.,

2. By mailing out information to individuals, small groups and bus tours who want to come find out what LeClaire is all about, and

3. Through providing nice, convenient public restrooms to shoppers, diners, people checking out our attractions, families, LeClaire residents who are just out for a walk - everyone appreciates the restrooms!
