Very good; can get loud
by printjunky
on March 19, 2010
Great for after work. Though, when it gets busy (often!) it can get very loud - unusually so.
But the food makes up for it, even if it's a bit in line with low/mid-upscale chain cliche at this point. I love the beet salad, and the squash ravioli. And they make a respectable tiramisu. I'd also recommend a wine - I think it's the Borolo (wine list keeps crashing my browser for some reason). This is the best value on the list in my opinion.
The service is generally good (upgrade 'em to exceptional, for any time I've eaten at the bar).
I suppose most Quad-Citians consider it expensive, but in the Duck City, Red Crow context (RC is excellent and DC reputedly so, and both are higher priced), it's a good value.

Biaggi's Keeps Me Sane.. of sorts
by Gluten Free Eater
on December 30, 2009
I have to eat gluten free. That means no bread, no pasta, nothing with wheat, rye, barley and most oats. Its a pain. I don't eat out much. But Biaggi's is the one place I can eat since they have a menu specially for those who are gluten intolerant.
The pasta is great - big Capellini di Mare fan, the pizza is pretty good especially the Chicken Piccante which helps obviate the fact that the crust is only so so. The Chicken Piemontese and Chicken Pietro entrees are my favorites.
