I have eaten the hot pastrami there and it is the best in the Quad Cities. Had it in Boston in the 50's and we loved it but in all these years we could never find good hot pastrami. I've had it about 3 times. Excellent. I took my grandsons and they had different food and everything was good.

"BEWARE" We ate at Goombazz in Rock Island tonite and the pizza tasted horrible. A large cheese pizza with no toppings is $20.00 and if you want toppings they're $1.50 each. Also the staff is rude especially the owner. Harris Pizza is still #1 and always will be.

If you are looking for great food, service and a festive place to pass some time, then make the short drive to
Goombazz.
We've been there 4 times now and the quality of the food and the service just gets better with each time. The waitstaff's knowledge about their fair is wonderful, the chef's execution of the food is near perfect each time.
Sal and Brenda (owners) are constantly meeting and greeting the customers and checking on the quality of the food that comes from the kitchen. These two are a real credit to the store and to the area. They know what it takes to make it happen in a store like this!
We cannot say enough about Goombazz. Just get there and eat!
