Exotic Thai Restaurant (Davenport)

I've eaten there a few times with family. I love the place because the decor looks awesome, it's very open but you can hear your voice echooo which seems quite loud but once they get a lot of people coming in, it doesn't matter. The food always tastes great and the staff are very friendly and attentive, as usual. I give props to my server because she had to do pretty much everything around the place. The food is very detailed and it looks like the chef puts a lot of effort to create these yummy dishes.

Everytime I leave Exotic Thai, I feel satisfied.

The atmosphere always makes me feel warm and comfortable if I am coming in from the cold and alternately revitalized when I come in during the warmer months - surprising, but true. Red and brown earth tones surround you on colored booths and walls while the sound of light asian string music strums in the background.

The spices used in there dishes are very well balanced - sweet and spicy and savory when necessary. I am a curry fan, and their green curry with eggplant is exquisite. The vegetable soaks up the flavor so well - you would never expect a simple curry to feel so decadent. I highly recommend it.

The new more traditional dishes are perfect additions to an already excellent menu. Every dish is I have had has proved a worthwhile adventure.

This restaurant is perfect for every occasion - quick lunch, relaxing dinner, if you are looking for something different or if you want the same dish you know you love for the 100th time. Thank goodness we have a Thai restaurant this nice in the Quad Cities!
