CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (October 13, 2025) — The African American Museum of Iowa will unveil a new exhibit, Rooted: Labor, Land, and Legacy.

This exhibit celebrates the role farming plays in Black resiliency and activism.

Farming has played a significant role in Black communities’ struggles and triumphs for economic independence, cultural preservation, and self-determination.

WHITEWATER, WISCONSIN (October 13, 2025) — Hannah Gault from Moline, Illinois, who is studying Elementary Middle Education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has earned a roster spot on the Warhawk women's swimming and diving team for the 2025-26 season.

The Warhawks finished fifth at last year's Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships.
