MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (April 24, 2026) — With Monmouth College's May 17 Commencement exercises less than one month away, the sprint to the finish of the spring semester has clearly begun. Here are a few of the many events that will be happening on campus through the end of April. They are all free and open to the public.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (April 20, 2026) — "It's Scots Day, baby (uh-huh, uh-huh)!"

That was the cry from nearly thirty members of the Fighting Scots Marching Band as they performed on the steps of the Huff Athletic Center during Monmouth College's tenth annual Scots Day of Giving on April 15.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (April 16, 2026) — A couple with a long history of giving back to their alma mater have chosen Monmouth College's new nursing program as their next area of focus.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (April 13, 2026) — This fall, Monmouth College will launch a significant enhancement to its computer-science program through a partnership with Rize Education, a national leader in career-aligned program design. Monmouth's computer science students will be able to pursue one of three new concentrations — cybersecurity, applied artificial intelligence, and web development — giving them a sharper, more targeted path into the technology careers shaping the modern world.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (March 25, 2026) — Even a short book can take a long time.

That's one of the lessons that the Galusha sisters — alumni Mary Ann Eiserman ('72) and Cherry Simmons ('80) — shared with a group of Monmouth College students Wednesday evening during a talk on campus.
