MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (January 14, 2026) — An art exhibit originally slated to be installed in downtown Monmouth is instead currently on display in the Len G Everett Gallery on the upper level of Hewes Library on the Monmouth College campus.

"We're happy that we were able to provide our gallery space for this exhibition while the Buchanan Center for the Arts is under construction," said Monmouth art professor Stacy Lotz.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (January 5, 2026) — If her life had taken a different course, Monmouth College administrator Karen Ogorzalek might be in the midst of her 36th year at an elementary school in New England, transitioning a few years ago from her time as a beloved second-grade teacher to the school's warm, caring principal and leader.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (December 1, 2025) — Her first-ever trip to Mexico was a win in the game of life for Monmouth College senior Andrea Castaneda, as she visited the place she'd heard stories about all her life from her parents.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (November 17, 2025) — For Monmouth College senior Isaac Guadarrama, the path to medicine has always been about more than science, it's about people. Originally a science education major, Guadarrama entered college with a passion for mentoring and guiding others. But as he explored how science could intersect with service, he discovered that biochemistry provided the foundation he needed to pursue his growing interest in medicine.
