MOLINE, ILLINOIS (August 24, 2021) — The Quad City Storm has signed defenseman Jordon Stone to a training-camp contract. Stone, 25, is a native of Parker, Colorado who most recently played collegiately at Bethel University in St Paul, Minnesota. The 6’2 blue liner began his collegiate career at Johnson and Whales University before transferring to Bethel to compete in his final two years of eligibility.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (August 19, 2021) — QCSportsNet.com, the Quad Cities’ provider of live high-school sports play-by-play, is joining the professional ranks, as the exclusive play-by-play outlet for all Quad City Storm hockey regular season and play-off home-games. This is in addition to live coverage of six high schools, with football season kicking off on Friday, August 27. MOLINE, ILLINOIS (August 16, 2021) — The Quad City Storm has signed defenseman Kyle Pouncy to a training-camp contract.  Pouncy is a native of Kamloops, British Columbia and played last season for ECHL Wichita and FPHL Carolina before ending the season with the SPHL’s Knoxville Ice Bears. Pouncy was a four-year starter at Northland College and was named assistant captain during his final two seasons.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (July 14, 2021) — The Quad City Storm has finalized its schedule for the 2021-2022 season. The season will open October 15 at the TaxSlayer Center when the Storm battle the Evansville Thunderbolts. The final home game will be played on March 5 and the regular season concludes on the road in Peoria on Friday, April 8.

The Storm’s home schedule consists of nine Friday games, thirteen Saturday games, five Sunday games, and one Tuesday game.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (June 11, 2021) — The Quad City Storm will open the 2021-2022 season Friday October 15, 2021, at the TaxSlayer Center. The game will be the first for the Storm since Sunday March 8, 2020, and will end a 505 day stretch without professional hockey in the Quad Cities.

The Storm’s full home schedule, opponents, road schedule and promotional schedule will all be announced later this Summer.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (May 28, 2021) — The Quad City Storm has selected its protected list for the 2021-2022 season. The protected list includes players from the team’s 2020-2021 training camp roster that was established prior to the cancellation of last season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The following players are not eligible to sign a training camp contract for the 2021-2022 season with any SPHL team other than the Storm.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (February 22, 2021) — The Quad City Storm is hosting a ‘Chuck-A-Puck’ fundraiser next Wednesday, March 3, to raise money for the UnityPoint Health Trinity Health Foundation (‘Chuck-A-Puck’ is a promotion where fans purchase foam pucks and throw them at prizes, normally placed on the ice. For this fundraiser the prizes will be placed on the TaxSlayer Center arena floor).

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (March 20, 2020) — The Quad City Storm is excited to announce Storm head coach Dave Pszenczny has been signed to a two-year contract extension. In an abbreviated second season with the Storm, Pszenyczny increased the team’s winning percentage significantly and navigated the Storm in to one of eight playoff positions at year’s end.
