ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (May 10, 2023) — In celebration of the Quad City Botanical Center’s 25th year anniversary on June 20, we are excited to announce a special cactus exhibit on display now through July 30, featuring cacti from the collection of Allen Dieter, one of the founding members of the Quad City Botanical Center.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (April 7, 2023) — The Quad City Botanical Center has extended the Plant Sale order deadline to Wednesday, April 12. Orders will be picked up on Saturday, April 29, 10AM-2PM. The Botanical Center is extending the order deadline due to the arrival of spring weather in the Quad Cities, leaving more people inspired to plan their gardens.

Bring your flashlights and explore the nooks and crannies of the Sun Garden to search for spiders, bats, jack-o-lanterns, and toads as you wander down the darkened pathways. Get a glimpse of the Halloween train in our popular train garden. It’s not so scary in our gardens, making this event great for all ages.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (August 25, 2022) — The Quad City Botanical Center is hosting its Ability Garden Ribbon Cutting event on Friday, August 26, 10AM.

Join us as we celebrate the official opening of our newly-reimagined Ability Garden. The Ability Garden is designed to improve accessibility to garden spaces and provide gardening opportunities to more people. Donors, grantors, supporters, and those who were part of this endeavor will be recognized at the ribbon-cutting.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (August 5, 2022) — The Quad City Botanical Center (2525 4th Avenue, Rock Island, IL 61201) is allowing guests to pay what they want for admission to the gardens August 7-13. By giving guests the chance to name their price of admission, we hope to allow every community member a chance to experience all the summer gardens have to offer.
