MOLINE, ILLINOIS (April 19, 2024) — The Black Box Theatre will be holding auditions for the all-male acapella musical All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914. Music directing will be Ron May with direction and design by Lora Adams.

“We produced the piece in 2022 and so many people asked us to do it again,” said Adams. “It is a truly unique and beautiful story that stirs the soul,” added May.

Auditions will be May 4, 1–2:30PM, at The Black Box Theatre, 1623 5th Avenue, Moline. Auditionees should be prepared to sing a Christmas song acapella.

The rehearsal schedule is: June 22 (10AM-1PM), July 13 (10AM-1PM), August 3 (10AM-1PM), August 17 (10AM-1PM), September 7 (10AM-1PM), September 28 (10AM-1PM), October 19 (10AM-1PM), November 9, 16, 23 (10AM-1PM), November 12, 18, 19 (6-9PM), December 7 (10AM-1PM), Tech week December 9, 10, 11, 12 (6-9PM), Shows December 13, 14, 19, 20, and 21 at 7:30PM and December 15 and 22 at 2PM.  Minor conflicts will be accommodated.
