COAL VALLEY, ILLINOIS (October 20, 2023) — BOO! It is Niabi Zoo’s annual celebration of Merry, not Scary Halloween Festivities. Our many generous, local businesses will provide free treats to our Zoo guests. Wear your costumes, bring a smile, and enjoy the many annual Boo at the Zoo activities.

Boo at the Zoo Activity Hours | 10AM-3PM

Zoo Admission Hours | 10AM-5PM, Last entry @ 4PM

  • Niabi Zoo Members and Funbundle Members get Free admission to this event.
  • Please remember that we cannot provide a separate entry line for members due to the many guests visiting during Boo at the Zoo. Guests will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please have your membership card and ID ready if you are a member.
  • Online tickets are not available for Boo at the Zoo. However, you can purchase tickets onsite on October 28 and 29 at the online discounted rate! More Information here.

  • Costumes are welcomed but not required. Adults may wear costumes, but we ask that they be family-friendly (not scary). Since this event caters to small children, adults may NOT wear costume masks that cover the ENTIRE face.
