SPRINGFIELD – Due to a special session of the Illinois General Assembly that has been scheduled for Thursday, July 27, Representative Tony McCombie and Senator Neil Anderson will not be in attendance at a “Coffee & Conversation” event that is scheduled for Thursday in Rock Falls. While Anderson and McCombie will be in Springfield for session and unable to attend in person, Rock Falls Mayor Bill Wescott, as well as representatives from Rep. McCombie and Sen. Anderson’s offices will be on hand to address any concerns that constituents may have. “Coffee & Conversation” is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Candlelight Inn in Rock Falls located at 2200 1st Avenue. Coffee and soft drinks will be provided at the event, which is free and open to the public. Staff from Rep. McCombie’s office will be on-hand to provide assistance to constituents seeking help with issues related to a number of state government agencies, including veterans’ issues and concealed carry applications.
