HAMPTON, Ill. (July 10, 2017) – Tin Can Tourists is hosting an free open house on Saturday, July 15 from noon to 3 p.m. during the Third Annual Great River Road Vintage Trailer Rally and you’re invited!
During the open house, the public is encouraged to come out and admire the 26 vintage trailers that are signed up for the event.
“Even if you don’t own a vintage camper, we’re inviting the public to come out and experience this unique event,” said Mike Peterson, Illiniwek park superintendent. “Spend some time checking out these unique trailers, remembering days past and treasuring the unique design elements.”
This year’s Vintage Trailer Rally runs July 13-16 at Illiniwek Forest Preserve Campground (836 State Ave, Hampton, IL 61256) and features potlucks, campfires and great friends.
“We’re thrilled to host the Great River Road Vintage Trailer Rally again this year,” says Peterson. “The last two events were a success and we’re excited to see an increase in this year’s event attendance.”
Tin Can Tourists is a club for people who own and love vintage trailers to meet and interact with others who share their passion. Tin Can Tourists hosts trailer rally events across the U.S., but is based primarily in Michigan.
