December is here and snow is right around the corner! The Countdown til Christmas has begun so be sure to grab those last minute gifts and stocking stuffers from our gift shop! We've stocked items especially for the Holiday season to be sure delight everyone in your family.

To also spread some holiday cheer, be sure to attend a FREE concert, "Unser Geschenk: Our Gift", by the Davenport Zither Ensemble. The concert will be on December 11 starting at 2 PM at St Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2353 W Third St, Davenport. Come here the soothing sounds of Zither music!

Our Santa exhibit is still open and has garnished much attention from the community. Built by 7th graders from the Creative Arts Academy, the children are receiving much attention from their exhibit. Be sure to see it before it ends Jan 8th!

The 7th graders at the Creative Arts Academy are at it again as well, this time turning the German American Heritage Center into Iowa's largest Advent Calendar. Every day starting Dec 1, a new window will be lit on the center's south side with a new design by the students. Be sure to enjoy their work as we light up the riverfront!
