Quad Cities – New bicycles have arrived for the start of the season for bike rentals the Quad Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau announces today.

The Quad Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau (QCCVB) is currently the only organization renting bicycles in the area.  The new TREK® bicycles are available to rent by the hour or the day at the QCCVB’s three downtown visitor centers in Davenport, Moline, and Rock Island.

IDOT hosts kickoff event to construction season at Jane Byrne Interchange

CHICAGO (Mar. 14, 2018) — The Illinois Bicentennial Commission today released its first video commercial promoting the state’s 200th birthday. The :30 second spot is the center point of a statewide multimedia campaign named after the theme of the yearlong celebration: BORN, BUILT & GROWN in Illinois.

Today the Board of Directors of the Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau announced that Joe Taylor, President & CEO, will retire from the bureau, effective December 31, 2018.

Rita Vargas, Scott County Recorder, received notice in the New Orleans Passport Center Newsletter informing the public of changes to the issuance of U.S. Passports. Beginning this month, passport applicants who have been certified as having a seriously delinquent federal tax debt totaling more than $50,000 (including interest and penalties) may be denied issuance of a U.S. passport and may have any currently valid U.S. passport revoked.
