Golf FORE! Gilda's Tees Off with Exciting New Changes

DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 15, 2024) — Gilda's Club Quad Cities is thrilled to announce exciting updates to its annual charity golf event, now set to take place at the beautiful Palmer Hills Golf Course in Bettendorf, IA. Golf Fore Gilda’s presented by Ascentra Credit Union will take place on Friday, May 3, 2024. The event promises a day of golf, fun, and fundraising in support of individuals and families in our community living with cancer.

Students of All Saints Catholic School Spread Hope with Donation of "Chemo Bags" to Gilda's Club Quad Cities

DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 28, 2024) — In a heartwarming display of compassion, students from All Saints Catholic School in Davenport, Iowa, have dedicated the past three months to creating chemo care-bags to support an initiative of Gilda’s Club Quad Cities. From hand-painting canvas bags to collecting care items and hand crafting Valentines, these students have poured their hearts into this meaningful service project.

Gilda's Club to Host 25th Annual Lighting of The Blessing Tree at Be the Light Park

BETTENDORF, IOWA (November 7, 2023) — The Blessing Tree tradition continues for the 25th year and will have a new location where it will shine brightly for all. The Blessing Tree is a tradition in which people can sponsor a light, bow, or ornament in memory of, in celebration of, or in gratitude for, a special person in their life. This visual embodiment of hope will be held at Be the Light Park, on State St, between 10th and 12th Streets in downtown Bettendorf.

We have come together to provide emotional support, educational programs, resources, and referrals, and a home away from home for those being impacted by cancer in the community.

Gilda’s Club Quad Cities to Host Annual Cancer Awareness Motorcycle Ride with a Twist

DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 8, 2023) — Gilda’s Club Quad Cities is very excited to announce our Red Door Ride on September 16, with a fun twist. The Red Door Ride, formerly known as QC Cancer Awareness Ride and QC Ride for the Cure. This will be our 16th year hosting the ride. We are partnering with the Rust Belt to have a benefit concert the same night with an exciting performance from the Spazmatics! Concert Ticket is included with ride registration.

Following the success of the previous year’s inaugural day, CSC and its network are excited to announce that they are continuing the tradition.

Run for Hope Benefiting Gilda’s Club

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 21, 2023) —We are excited to announce our annual Run for Hope Benefiting Gilda’s Club, June 24, at the Rock in Coal Valley. This is a family-friendly event to show your support for those in the community who have been impacted by cancer.

The five-kilometer run will begin at 8AM, and a one-mile fun-run will be held at 9AM; thereafter, breakfast will be served.
