Sen. Chuck Grassley today made the following comment after the Senate voted in favor of the motion to proceed to health care legislation. 

WASHINGTON – Sen. Chuck Grassley, Sen. Joni Ernst and Sen. Al Franken today introduced bipartisan legislation to increase the amount of information students receive about federal student loans, including their potential ability to repay, before rather than after signing up for tens of thousands of dollars in debt to Uncle Sam.

WASHINGTON – The Judiciary Committee has agreed to a request by Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS to provide a transcribed interview with committee staff and members.  As such, the committee will excuse Simpson from his legal obligation to attend Wednesday’s hearing following a subpoena issued last week compelling his presence.
