WASHINGTON DC (July 29, 2019) — Senate Finance Committee Chairman Charles "Chuck" Grassley today released the following statement regarding the Governmental Accountability Office’s (GAO) report on disproportionate share hospital (DSH) payments and states’ use and distribution of these payments to hospitals through Medicaid.

Q: Why does Congress recognize National Whistleblower Appreciation Day on July 30?

A: It’s an appropriate coincidence National Whistleblower Appreciation Day occurs in the same month as America’s Independence Day.

WASHINGTON DC (July 26, 2019) – Senator Charles "Chuck" Grassley will hold town meetings in Sac County on August 5 and Cherokee County on August 6 as a part of his annual 99 county meetings.
