WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley, former chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and Sen Kirsten Gillibrand introduced legislation to fix deficiencies in a federal benefit-program that are preventing first-responders with certain injuries from receiving benefits intended by Congress.
