DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 9, 2022) — Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) is pleased to officially welcome Sonya J Williams PhD as the District’s eighth Chancellor. Dr Williams’ duties begin this week as she assumes leadership of the college following the retirement of Dr Don Doucette.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 16, 2022) — The Eastern Iowa Community College District (EICCD) Board of Trustees today appointed Dr Sonya Williams as the district’s next chancellor.

Dr Williams currently serves as Vice President of Education and Chief Academic Officer at the College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois, where she oversees all instructional operations. She will begin her duties on August 8, replacing Dr Don Doucette who is retiring.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 8, 2022) — Time and tuition costs no longer need to be an issue for anyone pursuing a career in sign language. Beginning this fall, students enrolled in Eastern Iowa Community Colleges’ American Sign Language (ASL) — English Interpreting program will be able to complete the majority of their coursework online. On-campus class will continue to be offered as well.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 28, 2022) — Eastern Iowa Community Colleges is opening its doors to the public on Tuesday, May 3, 4–7PM, for “All Things IT at EICC,” an open-house and reverse job-fair event, at the Scott Community College Urban Campus, 101 W 3rd St, Davenport.
