Cancer Chemo Bags: Gilda’s Club Quad Cities

DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 2, 2021) — Gilda’s Club Quad Cities is reaching out to request your help with filling chemo care-bags for patients going through treatment. This bag is a special gift that will be given to individuals facing treatment for the first time. The chemo care-bags will be filled with items to help pass the time during treatment and bring them joy during the long periods of time they are at the cancer center(s).

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (July 8, 2021) — Gilda’s Club Quad Cities will host Frankly Speaking About Cancer: Immunotherapy — a free workshop designed for individuals considering immunotherapy treatments. It will cover immunotherapy today, the immune system and cancer, the different types of cancer immunotherapy, the importance of immunotherapy, as well as the eligibility requirements for immunotherapy treatment, the side effects of treatment, and resources for support.
