PLATTEVILLE, WISCONSIN (December 23, 2019) — Thirty-four University of Wisconsin-Platteville students were recently inducted into Phi Kappa Phi, an honor society that recognizes academic achievement of top students in all majors.

Selection of students is made on the basis of academic achievement supported by good character and is designed to promote academic excellence in higher education and recognize outstanding achievements.

DES MOINES, IOWA (November 4, 2019) — State Treasurer Michael L Fitzgerald announced the appointment of Randi McLaughlin as Deputy Treasurer for the state treasurer's office. McLaughlin started her treasury career in 1986 and most recently had served as an executive officer within office.

 

DES MOINES, IOWA (November 4, 2019) — State Treasurer Michael L Fitzgerald announced the appointment of Karen Austin as Chief of Staff for the state treasurer's office. Austin has worked in the treasurer's office since 1990 and was appointed deputy treasurer in 2003.

CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA (October 29, 2019) — Joseph Field of Bettendorf, Iowa, is one of the nearly 400 cadets and students recognized for their academic achievements during the spring 2019 semester. Field also counts among the 860 cadets and students who were named to the Dean's List.

GALESBURG, ILLINOIS (October 15, 2019) — Over 300 new students joined the Knox College community by enrolling for the 2019 fall term.

Andrea Bradshaw of Davenport, Iowa, who graduated recently from Davenport Central High School high school.

Daniel Springsteen of Taylor Ridge, Illinois, who graduated recently from high school.

GALESBURG, ILLINOIS (October 10, 2019) — Roger Wittmer, from Bettendorf, Iowa, was among the 30 Knox College students who were selected for the 2019 Business Intensive Seminar, which took place on the Knox campus. Most participants had just completed their first or second year of college.
