AMES, IOWA (December 9, 2019) — The Women, Food and Agriculture Network is excited to launch its application process for the Harvesting Our Potential (HOP) program in 2020. This program helps train aspiring women farmers and supports beginning women farmers by giving them the opportunity to work with women who are already farming successfully.

AMES, IOWA (September 23, 2019) — Food justice advocate Miah Ulysse will be the keynote speaker at the 6th national Women in Sustainable Agriculture Conference, taking place October 17-19, 2019 at the InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront hotel in downtown St Paul. Her keynote, “Working in Harmony to Transform the Food System,” includes her insights on ways to be effective change-agents in local food systems without succumbing to burnout.

AMES, IOWA (February 12, 2019) — The Women, Food and Agriculture Network (WFAN) seeks its next Executive Director who will continue the organization’s growth, who is passionate about the intersections of sustainable agriculture, feminism, and justice, and who has experience in community organizing, fundraising, staff management, and nonprofit administration.
