Davenport, IA/ April 26th, 2018 – Rudy's Tacos is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a big party starting at noon on Saturday, May 5th located at the 11th Street location in the Village of East Davenport.  Bands this year include, “Doug Brundies Big Acoustic Act”, “Jordan Danielson” and “Smooth Groove”.  Also returning this year is our ever popular Taco Eating Contest starting at 5:00pm.

Geneva, IL — The Quad Cities River Bandits watched the Kane County Cougars score five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take a 5-1 lead on Wednesday afternoon at Northwestern Medicine Field.  They could have folded up shop at that point.  Instead, they scored six runs in the top of the seventh to regain the lead and added three more in the eighth, on the way to a 10-5 victory in front of 7,209 fans. 

AMES, IA (04/16/2018)-- Kylee Cangas, an Iowa State University third-year architecture student, won the 2018 Richard F. Hansen Prize in Architecture awarded by the ISU Department of Architecture.
