DAVENPORT, Iowa, February 9, 2018 – Metropolitan Community Church of the Quad Cities announces the return of singer/songwriter Shawn Thomas who will be performing in the sanctuary of MCC QC. The concert will include songs from his latest album “Christ in My Life”. The church will collect a love offering to help with Shawn’s travel expenses and complimentary coffee/tea will be available in the social hall prior to the 7pm concert on Friday, March 9.

On February 15th, Bridging the Gap will host its 18th Annual Stand Down for homeless Veterans in the Quad Cities. The event will take place at the American Legion Davenport Post 26 located at 702 West 35th Street - Davenport

Due to the need to clear parking lanes across downtown, a snow removal is taking place tonight. No parking will be allowed on streets from 02/12/18 10:00 pm to 02/13/18 6:00 am. Please be aware all vehicles parked on Posted Snow Routes in the Downtown and Hilltop will be ticketed and towed if left in a snow route during this time. All three parking ramps will be available for FREE during this time.
