Rock Island, IL – St. Joseph the Worker House Association wishes to announce it has received a $1,000 grant from the Rock Island Rotary to help with the organization’s Touching Families, Touching Lives program.

MOLINE - Beginning Monday, Sept. 25, the intersection of 19th Street and 7th Avenue will be closed through early December to accommodate the future flow of traffic and to improve access to downtown Moline when the I-74 River Bridge is built. The Illinois Department of Transportation and the City of Moline are leading the road projects at and around this intersection.

    CLIVE, Iowa, Sept. 21, 2017 –  A Davenport man has won a $250,000 lottery prize.

    Robert Guthrie claimed the 10th of 18 top prizes of $250,000 available in the lottery’s “$250,000 Riches” scratch game. He claimed his prize Wednesday at the lottery’s regional office in Cedar Rapids.

    Guthrie bought his winning ticket at Hy-Vee, 4064 E. 53rd St. in Davenport.
