SEPTEMBER 28TH 2017, DES MOINES - A familiar face and voice will return to Iowa in late September to advocate for a greater focus and awareness for skilled trades and laborers. Executive Producer and Host of the hit TV series Dirty Jobs, Mike Rowe has long been an advocate for skilled trades jobs, even appearing in front of the United States Congress on multiple occasions to offer testimony. It's a mission that the Homebuilders Association of Iowa wants to shed more light on, in Iowa. 

Sen. Chuck Grassley is the co-author of the Physician Payments Sunshine Act disclosure requirements for drug company payments to doctors.  He is also the co-sponsor of pending bipartisan legislation to apply the disclosure requirements to nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

Acts Amaze on Opening Day of Talent Search at Iowa State Fair
