Grassley Sworn In for Seventh Term, Begins Work in 115th Congress

WASHINGTON – Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa will be sworn in today for his seventh term as United States Senator. The Senate will convene at 11 a.m. (CT), noon (ET) for the swearing-in of new and re-elected senators. Vice President Biden will preside over the proceedings.

He will assume responsibilities on January 3, 2017. Feeding Illinois coordinates and supports the efforts of member food banks serving Illinois, enabling them to better provide a healthy and adequate food supply to those in need.
