DES MOINES, IOWA (February 23, 2024) — A coalition of ten environmental organizations has submitted comments to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR), highlighting the inadequate protections for water quality in Iowa’s concentrated animal feeding operation (CAFO) rules.

DES MOINES, IOWA (February 23, 2024) — On Monday, February 26, 3:15PM, in the Iowa State Capitol Rotunda, union members from across the state of Iowa will join to rally for real solutions for what workers need. Private sector, building trades, public sector, manufacturing workers, and more will spell out how this legislature and governor’s priorities need to change; and how labor has a better vision of the future for Iowans.
