MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (August 16, 2023) — Monmouth College has been named one of Money magazine's "2023 Best Colleges."

The ranking is based upon a school's affordability, quality and student outcomes. A total of 2,400 colleges and universities were eligible for the ranking, and it was given to only about 700 four-year schools.

Each act will perform again on Thursday, August 17; Friday, August 18; or Saturday, August 19.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 16, 2023) — On July 1, 2023, Tim Lane of Le Claire, Iowa, and Rhonda Halterman of Davenport, Iowa, joined the Alzheimer’s Association Iowa Chapter Board of Directors. Lane is a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones, and he has a passion to help end Alzheimer’s because he has seen the effects of the disease on clients, friends, and his mother, who passed away from the disease in 2022.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (August 15, 2023) Monmouth College has received a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to help US teachers instruct their students about everyday life in ancient Greece.

The grant was the brainchild of Monmouth classics professor Bob Simmons and Louisiana high school classics teacher Nathalie Roy.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (August 15, 2023) — Each household that lived at 324 Main Street in downtown Davenport is now eligible for a total of $3,500 in financial assistance from the Quad Cities Disaster Recovery Fund at the Quad Cities Community Foundation.

The fund was activated after the partial building collapse earlier this summer. Donors from the Quad Cities region and across the country donated to support the fund.
