DAVENPORT, IA - On October 13, the six-piece Midwestern band known as The Creepin' Charlies will appear at Pepperjack's American Food & Spirits to add live music to Sunday Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday Brunch at Pepperjack's is held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"Friday is our Live Music Night at Pepperjack's, and that's been a big hit with our customers," said Danny Holmes, co-owner with Wes Ludloff of Pepperjack's. The combination restaurant and lounge is located at 1225 E. Kimberly Road, Davenport, IA. "So, we decided to try out live music as an exciting new component of our Sunday Brunch."
"We enjoy bringing new entertainment options to our customers," said Ludloff. "We want people to think of Pepperjack's as their destination for unique dining selections and entertainment options. The Creepin' Charlies call their music style 'Americana' and it's sure to have a wide appeal."
The Creepin' Charlies consists of Barry Beranek on guitar, mandolin and harmonica; Bruce Griffin on banjo, pedal steel, and guitar; Gordon Holmes on bass guitar; Joel Smyers on ukulele and guitar; Mike Whitehall on guitar; and Bill Van Atta on drums. These veteran musicians have many years of experience playing rock, blues, bluegrass, country, swing, and folk. In addition to their original music, the Creepin' Charlies cover songs by Guy Clark, Bob Dylan, Rodney Crowell, Old Crow Medicine Show, America, and the Traveling Wilburys, among others.
Music is a big part of the entertainment scene at Pepperjack's. In addition to Live Music on Fridays from 7 to 10 p.m., Pepperjack's also offers Open Mic/Karaoke in the lounge every Thursday night, 8 p.m. to midnight, with extended Happy Hour specials.
