Davenport, Iowa (September 2016) – Davenport Elks Lodge 298 is presenting the 1st Caring for Cancer Golf Tournament to benefit Gilda’s Club Quad Cities. Caring for Cancer Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 10:00 am at Emeis Golf Course located at 4500 W Central Park Avenue, Davenport, Iowa.
Registration Fees: $90 Per Player and $360 per Team of 4 players. Registration includes 18 holes of golf with cart, Sleeve of 3 balls, Chick-Fil-A breakfast sandwich, 2 beer or well drinks, and a steak dinner at the Elks Lodge following the tournament. Registration closes September 15. Sign in begins at Emeis at 9 a.m. with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
Prizes and Contests: Overall Team prize will be awarded with 1st place team winning $200, 2nd place team winning $100, and 3rd place team winning $60. We will also have a Hole In One Contest with the prize being a 8 day/7 night Hawaiian Vacation for Two on the island of Oahu (valued at $3,000). Other contests are Circle Hole, Longest Drive (men & women) Longest Putt, Closest to the Pin Par 4 and Closest to the Pin with the winner of each taking home a $25 cash prize.
50/50 Raffle and Raffle Baskets will be available: Raffle tickets will be sold 1 for $1 or 6 for $5 at the event.

All proceeds from the tournament will stay locally to benefit Gilda’s Club Quad Cities.
