The soy checkoff was built by farmers, for farmers. Future commodity prices, return on investment and overall profitability are just a few things that will be discussed during the United Soybean Board’s Annual Meeting. The checkoff is committed to investments that drive farmer profitability.
At the meeting, new leaders for 2017 will be appointed. They’ll be working on how the soy checkoff can tackle industry challenges in a time of low commodity prices. To assist the new leadership, Jim Carroll, one of the world’s leading global futurist, trends and innovation experts, will be speaking at the event.
In addition to appointing new leadership, 15 new appointees will be confirmed as USB farmer-leaders at the meeting.
USB welcomes all members of the media to attend all open sessions.
The USB media teleconference will take place in January after the new leadership team digs into their responsibilities and priorities for 2017.
