Davenport (Jan. 16, 2018) — The Quad City Engineering & Science Council (QCESC) is seeking nominations to recognize exceptional scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and technology professionals and educators in the Quad Cities Area.
The purpose of the QCESC Awards is to pay tribute and recognize Engineering and Science Professionals whose achievements and outstanding contributions have made a lasting impact on technology, society, and their profession. This includes helping to promote and raise the awareness of STEM (Engineering, Science, Technology, and Mathematics) education and careers in our local communities including in our schools.
The mission is to promote and support STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) professionals and associated societies, and to encourage and support students to study in a STEM field. The Awards will be announced at our Annual Banquet on February 22nd, 2018 at the Putnam Museum in Davenport. Details and reservations will be available soon on our website http://qcesc.org . The deadline for submission is February 4th, 2018. There is no cost to nominate an individual for an award.
