DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 21, 2026) — In an industry long dominated by men, Janelle Langan has spent the last decade building something different.

This month, Langan Design Intervention celebrates ten years as a woman-owned remodeling, design, and project-management company serving the Quad Cities. Founded in 2016, LDI has grown from Langan’s vision to change the remodeling experience into a trusted local business known for bold design, organized execution, strong communication, and repeated community recognition through Locals Love Us.

“Ten years in, and I still feel like we’re just getting started, but in the best way,” said Janelle Langan, founder of Langan Design Intervention.

“What began as a vision to change the dynamics of remodeling has turned into something I’m incredibly proud of; projects, people, and a process that truly works.”

For Langan, the continued community recognition is not just about awards. It represents years of showing up, raising expectations, and proving that remodeling can be organized, exciting, and exceptional, not chaotic.

“I never take the positive feedback for granted,” Langan said.

“We build our process to earn them. It’s truly the result of a team that understands the mission and shows up every single day to execute.”

As LDI marks its ten-year anniversary, the company remains focused on the mission that shaped its first decade: better design, better communication, better management, and better results.

“LDI wasn’t built to blend in,” Langan said. “It was built to raise the bar.”
