Former State Senator and Emergency Room Doctor Shifts from Compelling Iowa Courts to Provide Judicial Review Over Agencies' Actions to Suing for Damages

For the second time, a former state senator and physician is suing two state licensing boards over an investigation into his practices related to COVID-19.

If housing were free, what kind of house would we live in? A mansion? Maybe a cardboard box? If a third party bought our food, even a close neighbor, would we eat well? Despite the obvious flaws in this logic, politicians have been enticing voters with empty promises of “free” healthcare while simultaneously making it both unaffordable and often unavailable.

I am calling on the Iowa Supreme Court to act. Not for me, but for the patients who have been denied care and for the physicians who have been punished for serving them.
