CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (December 7, 2022) — This winter, the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge will be held at 24 locations throughout the state. These events will support the thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities served by Special Olympics Illinois.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (March 7, 2022) — This winter, the Rock Island community is invited to be bold and get cold by taking the Polar Plunge to support Special Olympics Illinois athletes. The 2022 Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge presented by GEICO in Rock Island will take place at Bally’s Casino, 777 Bally Blvd, Rock Island, Illinois, on Sunday, March 13, 2PM.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (April 29, 2019) — Families, volunteers, and spectators are invited to cheer on all Special Olympics Illinois athletes as they compete in the 2019 Region F Spring Games. The annual event takes place on Saturday, May 4, 10AM–4PM. Region F Spring Games is hosted by Sunnylane Athletic Field (438 S Sunnylane, Monmouth, Illinois.).

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (March 18, 2019) — Polar Plungers will brave the frigid water of Wick's Lake in Rock Island, on Sunday, March 24, 2019. The funds raised from the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge® will benefit the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois. The Rock Island Plunge will take place at Jumer's Casino — 777 Jumer Drive, Rock Island, IL 61201. Registration is at 12:30PM.
