Pancake Breakfast & Open House

MONTICELLO, IA-The Camp Courageous Annual Pancake Breakfast and Open House will be held at the Camp Courageous Main Lodge on Sunday, September 27th, 2015 from 8 am to Noon.
Camp Courageous began serving individuals with disabilities during the summer of 1974. That year, 211 campers were served. This year Camp Courageous is celebrating 41 years & will serve over 7, 000 campers.
Camp Courageous will be serving a hot breakfast of pancakes, pork sausage, juice, milk & coffee. The cost is $6.00 for Adults and $3.00 for children under the age of 12.
Live reenactment Train Robbery by Red Cedar Regulators will be at the Train Depot at 9 am, 9:45 am, 10:45 am, and 11:45 am. The Super Zip and Bounce House will also be available during the duration of the breakfast, weather pending.
The musical sound of the Dixie-Notes-Plus will be playing live at the Sill Barn at 9:30 am. 10:30 am, and 11:30 am. The DVD presentation about the camp can be found in the camp's main office playing every half hour. The Camp Store with new camp merchandise will be open and located in the main office.
Open House will feature the new extension of the Camp Courageous Train & progress on the Durgin Pavilion.
Camp Courageous is located at 12007 190th Street, Monticello, IA 52310. From US Highway 151, take exit 65 and follow the signs. The camp is located about five miles south-west of Monticello.

This is a fundraiser for Metro Community Church, Quad Cities.

Saturday, January 24th from 8am until 11am at 2930 West Locust Street in Davenport.

Camp Courageous will be serving a hot breakfast of pancakes, pork sausage, juice, milk & coffee. The cost is $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under 12.

The Salvation Army & Christ Church Announce a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

Quad Cities, USA: Christ Church will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast to benefit The Salvation Army's Summer Day Camp Youth Programs. You are invited to enjoy pancakes, coffee, and to purchase a variety of baked goods. Tickets can be purchased now at the church, or Saturday morning at the door.

Location: Christ Church, 2330 W. 41st Street, Davenport, IA 52806

Date: Saturday, March 29, 2014

Time: 8:00am - 10:30am

Price: $5 per person, children under 6 are free

For hundreds of Quad-City children, The Salvation Army Corps Community Centers are a second home. And for the 55 children living at the Family Service Center, it is their home. Each summer the Davenport Corps Community Center hosts the children's summer camp for the shelter's children.

And for the 10th year, the Moline Corps Community Center at 2200 - 5th Avenue offers a low-cost day camp offering a fun, safe and education summer to community children.

All summer, children will have the opportunity to play music, learn sports, make new friends, go on field trips to QC attractions, and even attend an overnight camp in the beautiful hills of Washburn, IL. All activities feature life skill and character building, safety and structure.

Pancake Breakfast

American Legion Post #711, Blue Grass, Iowa, is hosting an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, April 5, 2014. Serving will be from 6:30am until 10:00am at the Blue Grass Legion Hall, 106 S Juniata St.

The menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, homemade syrup, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, cinnamon rolls, juice, milk and coffee.

The event is open to the public. Cost is $7 for adults, $3.50 for children ages 4 thru 12, and free for those under 4 years old.
