St Ambrose University First in Iowa to Join Common App's Direct Admissions Program to Provide First-Generation and Low-Income Students with Proactive Admissions Offers

DAVENPORT, IOWA (September 18, 2024) — St Ambrose University is excited to announce its participation in Common App’s Direct Admissions program for 2024-2025. St Ambrose, located in Davenport, Iowa, is the first higher education institution in the state to join the innovative nationwide program. The initiative is designed to give more than 400,000 first-generation and low-income students, who are interested in college, access to a valuable degree through proactive admissions offers.

St Ambrose University Announces 2024 Spring Commencement Speakers

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 15, 2024) — President Amy C Novak EdD announced that Diane Murtha (’84) (’94), and Sr Mary Thomas will give the keynote addresses at the 2024 Spring graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 18. Sr Thomas will also be recognized with an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree for her significant philanthropic and humanitarian efforts.
