WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (May 3, 2024) — Affordability and accessibility are the top barriers for farmers seeking mental health services, per an American Farm Bureau Federation survey. During May Mental Health Awareness Month, the Iowa Farm Bureau wants to remind farmers support is readily available — and at no cost — through Personal Assistance Services (PAS).

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (April 24, 2024) — The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) has granted scholarships to 109 current and future college students looking to further their post-high school education within the agricultural industry.

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (December 13, 2023) — High-school students who plan to pursue an agricultural major or minor after their 2024 graduation are encouraged to apply for Iowa Farm Bureau Federation’s $2,500 scholarship. Awarded to 27 students, this scholarship is renewable for four years, up to $10,000.

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (November 15, 2023) — The American Farm Bureau Federation reports the average cost of this year's Thanksgiving meal for ten is $61.17, a 4.5% decrease from last year. However, the cost is still 25% higher than in 2019.
