DAVENPORT, Iowa – On April 9, 2018, United States District Court Judge Rebecca Goodgame Ebinger sentenced Jason David Chaney, age 31, of Galesburg, Illinois, to 240 months in prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, announced United States Attorney Marc Krickbaum. Chaney was ordered to serve five years of supervised release following his term of imprisonment and pay $100 to the Crime Victims’ Fund.

DAVENPORT, Iowa – On April 5, 2018, United States District Court Chief Judge John A. Jarvey sentenced Michael William Elliott, Jr., age 46, of Muscatine, to 135 months in prison for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, announced United States Attorney Marc Krickbaum. Elliott was ordered to serve five years of supervised release following his term of imprisonmemnt and pay $100 to the Crime Victims’ Fund.

DAVENPORT, Iowa – On March 21, 2018, United States District Court Judge Stephanie M. Rose sentenced Olajuwan Hakeem Culbreath, age 22, of Davenport, to 51 months in prison for a felon in possession of a firearm charge, announced United States Attorney Marc Krickbaum.

DAVENPORT, Iowa-- On February 23, 2018, United States Chief District Court Judge John A. Jarvey sentenced Darrell Anthony Rice to 22 months in prison as the result of his plea of guilty to escape from a federal facility, announced United States Attorney Marc Krickbaum. Rice, age 24, of Davenport, Iowa, was also ordered to serve three years of supervised release and pay $100 to the Crime Victim’s Fund.

DAVENPORT, Iowa-- On February 23, 2018, United States Chief District Court Judge John A. Jarvey sentenced Chelsea Ross Meier, III, to 90 months in prison as the result of his plea of guilty to possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute. Meier, age 35, of Davenport, Iowa, was also ordered to serve four years of supervised release and pay $100 to the Crime Victim’s Fund.

DAVENPORT, Iowa - On February 14, 2018, Chief United States District Court Judge John A. Jarvey sentenced Michele Lynn McGee, 45, of Bettendorf, Iowa, to 72 months in prison for five counts of wire fraud and one count of benefits fraud, announced United States Attorney Marc Krickbaum. McGee was also ordered to serve 3 years of supervised release following her imprisonment, and pay $600 to the Crime Victims’ Fund. McGee was also ordered to self-surrender to the designated prison.

DAVENPORT, Iowa-- On February 13, 2018, America Yegile Haileselassie, age 39, of Bettendorf, was sentenced by United States District Court Chief Judge John A. Jarvey to 60 months in prison following his guilty plea to interstate communication of a bomb threat, according to United States Attorney Marc Krickbaum. Haileselassie was ordered to serve one year of supervised release following his prison term and pay $100 to the Crime Victims’ Fund.

DAVENPORT, Iowa-- On February 13, 2018, Devon Durran Davis, age 25, of Davenport was sentenced by United States District Court Chief Judge John A. Jarvey to 46 months in prison following his guilty plea to felon in possession of a firearm, announced United States Attorney Marc Krickbaum. Davis was ordered to serve three years of supervised release to follow his prison term and pay $100 to the Crime Victims’ Fund. The firearm was forfeited.

DAVENPORT, Iowa -- On January 16, 2018, Oscar Lee Hall, Jr., age 41, formerly of Nichols, Iowa, was sentenced by United States District Court Judge Stephanie M. Rose to 33 months in prison after pleading guilty to failure to register as a sex offender, announced United States Attorney Marc Krickbaum.
