Heidi Burchard has been named the new principal of Neil Armstrong Elementary School, and Stephanie Graap will take over as the principal of Grant Wood Elementary School.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (April 24, 2025) — At its April 23 meeting, the Bettendorf Board of Education approved a property tax levy rate of $12.40 per $1,000 of taxable valuation for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. This marks a decrease of 44 cents from the previous year’s rate of $12.84.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (April 4, 2025) — Bettendorf High School students will be competing with their peers from four other area schools in a trebuchet contest Friday, April 11. Each team’s challenge will be to present their designs and ideas to a panel of engineers as well as ensure their trebuchet launches accurately and consistently.
