From our youngest singers to our high-school choirs, these performances showcase student talent, holiday spirit, and a love of music.

BHS Christmas Star Program December 10-16

BETTENDORF, IOWA (November 18, 2025) — The Donald A Schaefer Planetarium will be showing its annual Christmas Star program beginning Wednesday, December 10. The show will run every night through Tuesday, December 16. All shows will start at 7PM. Arrive early for holiday music and light show starting at 6:30. The Christmas Star is a tradition at BHS dating back to 1974. The show is free of charge, but seating is limited.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (October 8, 2025) — The public is invited to attend a Bettendorf School Board Candidate Forum at 6:30PM, on Wednesday, October 22, moderated and broadcast by KWQC-TV6.

The forum, hosted by the Bettendorf Community School District, will take place at the Bettendorf High School Performing Arts Center, 3333 18th Street.

A Letter of Commendation from the school and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC®), which conducts the program, will be presented by the principal to this scholastically talented senior.
