GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA (September 5, 2025) — Kathryn Jones, a resident of Milan, was recently named to the Bob Jones University Symphony Orchestra (BJUSO). Jones is a Sophomore majoring in Performance at BJU.

The mission of the BJUSO is to inspire artistic excellence in performance as a display of God's glory and His gifts to humanity. Auditions are open to all students at the university, regardless of academic major. The orchestra is directed by Dr Michael Moore.

The President's List recognizes students who earn a 3.75 or higher grade-point average for the semester.

GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA (December 20, 2024) — Kathryn Jones, a Sophomore Orchestral Instrument Performance major from Milan, Illinois, was among over 580 Bob Jones University students named to the Fall 2024 President's List.

The President's List recognizes students who earn a 3.75 or higher grade-point average for the semester.

GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA (October 18, 2024) — Kathryn Jones has been named to Bob Jones University's University Singers, BJU's largest choral organization. Jones, a resident of Milan, Illinois, is a Freshman majoring in Orchestral Instrument Performance.

All students at BJU are welcome to audition for choirs and are placed in a choral group according to their classification and abilities. Singers are re-auditioned periodically to determine proper placement.

GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA (May 18, 2023) — Jordan Allen, a resident of Muscatine, Iowa, was among over 700 students who graduated from Bob Jones University Friday, May 5.

Allen graduated with a MA in Biblical Studies.

In addition to 570 students earning Bachelor's degrees, 94 students received Master's degrees and 58 students received Associate degrees. Three candidates earned doctorate degrees.

Since its founding in 1927, BJU has conferred over 52,500 degrees.
